The booth designed by Patricia Urquiola has been granted with the “the best design exhibit” award at Cersaie 2011. The space is divided into five containers, each one dedicated to one of the designers, who have signed the collections of the company. The Spanish architect writes: “five containers, which are not bound to one another and can be moved and re-assembled in another place. One perceives five distinctive poetics, which meet in a central area. We have used the minimum material possible, we have covered the plasterboard only where necessary, and left it at sight where not essential. I have looked for the functional value of spaces, making them as flexible as possible, and suitable for at least a partial re-use in the future, also for the same company. This has been the most important thing for me: re-use”.
