Osso & Bottone is the first Mutina collection intended explicitly for outdoor environments, but it also works perfectly indoors. Designed by Ronan Bouroullec, it represents a significant innovation in ceramic usage and versatility.
With a thickness of 10 mm each, Osso & Bottone modules are made of unglazed porcelain stoneware with full body coloured mixture, available in a palette of five colours: Sabbia (sand), Grigio (grey), Rosso (red), Blu (blue), and Verde (green).
These are not solid colours but hues obtained from a delicate mix of coloured clays, which, working in synergy with the ceramic texture, enhance its material and natural appearance. A slight variation in tone, due to the use of natural, non-uniform coloured clay, is considered an integral part of the design, as it results from the production technique. Thanks to uniform processing throughout the thickness, the resulting surface exhibits e xcellent technical and durability characteristics.
