On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2024, Mutina presented a series of novelties entirely designed by Ronan Bouroullec. The installation involved not only the spaces of Casa Mutina Milano, but also the garden and the loft of the adjacent Spazio Cernaia, with the creation of a true path through the world of the French designer, who, for the first time in the history of Mutina, opens a dialogue between outdoor and indoor spaces.
The new Osso & Bottone collection, whose shapes give life to an evocative play of solids and voids, is, in fact, the first one designed for this dual use.
Another great protagonist of Ronan Bouroullec’s new products is Adagio, a project consisting of a series of ceramic modules designed to be assembled to generate scenographic wall sculptures.
The designer has also signed a new series of Editions, which combine the authenticity of handcrafted ceramic objects with a contemporary look and feel. These are a series of vases—Talea, Camino e Camini, Finestra Giorno and Finestra Notte—and a modular candelabra—Candeliere.
Strongly inspired by nature, the novelties presented in April are the result of a process of experimentation that has always underpinned Mutina and Bouroullec’s design approach.
